Ridge Cap Shingles
Many roof designs also have sloped ridges (hips) where roof planes meet an angle. The lower edge of any roof is one of the most critical areas for overall roof performance and wind resistance. Installed below the first row of shingles along the eaves, gabble and valley of the roof, starters literally get your roof started in the right direction with leading-edge protection.

IKO Leading Edge
You will need a starter shingle. Leading Edge Plus is the ideal product to use. Its efficient use of material provides two pieces from every strip, easily separated along a factory-perforated line. IKO’s high-strength thermally activated sealant is on every strip, helping ensure wind resistance at that critical first course.
IKO Armour Starter
If you have selected IKO’s Armourshake shingles for your roof, you may choose to use IKO Armour Starter. Used in conjunction with our standard Leading Edge Plus starter, Armour Starter provides extra thickness and protection between the first course of Armourshake, ensuring a beautiful roof appearance from bottom to top.
IKO Roof-Fast 95
A self-adhesive product, IKO Roof-Fast 95 can easily be applied on low-slope roofs. They’re constructed of a durable, inorganic reinforcing mat of nonwoven glass fibers that have been coated and permeated with Modiflex SBS bitumen to a thickness of approximately 2.0mm.
IKO Roof-Fast Cap
IKO Roof-Fast Cap sheets are ideal for any new or re-roofing low-slope residential project. These self-adhesive sheets have a special release film on the back for easy installation. They can be used alone or in combination with Roof-Fast Base sheets. Their attractive, durable, granule finish.
IKO Roof-Fast Base
IKO Roof-Fast Base MA is a fiberglass-reinforced base with a special film surface designed to be used as one of IKO’s Roof-Fast Low-slope Roofing Components. In combination with IKO Roof-Fast Cap sheets, it provides waterproofing properties and durability for low-slope roofs.

ArmourGard is a modified bitumen roll roofing product that is applied as a protective layer under shingled roofs. This coating prevents water seepage caused by ice dams or wind-driven rain. ArmourGard can also be used as an underlayment around roof-top structures or apertures such as chimneys, dormers and skylights, to name a few. It can also be applied as an exterior vapor barrier for foundations and basements.
IKO Storm Shield
StormShield™ is an economical, modified bitumen roll roofing product that protects critical roof areas that are most susceptible to water leakage caused by ice dams and wind-driven rain. When properly applied, this self-adhesive membrane creates a watertight seal, and its tear-resistant properties ensure that it will protect against potential ice and water damage for the long term.

Noticeably Tough Yet Impressively Flexible IKO SBS DeckBase 44 is an SBS modified bitumen rolelasticityl roofing product. The inner membranes of the roll consist of a tough, non-woven, glass fiber mat, which has been impregnated and coated with a specially formulated modified bitumen – designed to provide exceptionality.
